About Your Manipur

A free public-information platform bringing together reliable data from all 16 districts of Manipur. Crop prices, government schemes, local developments, and public budgets — explore the information shaping everyday life in your district.

Who runs it

Your Manipur is an independent citizen project. It is NOT an official government website and is not affiliated with the Government of Manipur or the Government of India.

It is an independent, community-supported project. It has no accounts and no paywall, and it does not sell the data it collects or the attention it receives.

What it covers

All 16 districts of Manipur, under 35 modules grouped into 7 sections: Civic Duty, Money & Resources, Daily Services, Accountability, Engagement, Local Info, Maps & Data.

Each district has its own set of module pages, plus a district overview that draws together the figures held for that district.

How the data is collected

Every module names its source. Most figures arrive from live government APIs and portals — data.gov.in, Agmarknet, the Manipur e-Tender portal, MSPDCL, NHIDCL, NJDG, the Jal Jeevan Mission dashboard and others — on a daily schedule, with power outage notices refreshed hourly.

Where a source publishes a document rather than an API — a gazette, a budget statement, a parliamentary answer — the document is linked directly from the data point it supports.

How to check the data

Each data point links to the page it came from, and each module carries a data-transparency notice naming its method and its limitations.

Where a figure cannot be sourced, the module shows nothing rather than an estimate. An empty module means the site has not verified the data, not that the data does not exist.

Corrections

If a figure is wrong, say so: somgimanipur@gmail.com, or the feedback form on the page you were reading. Reports go to the same place regardless of which district or module they concern.
